Chapter 2: Installing Metashape

The software we will be using during this course is called Metashape from Agisoft. It is formally known as PhotoScan, but has recently been rebranded. If you go to the Agisoft website. So let's give it a try.

On the page you can choose the version for your operating system. We will be very happy with the Standard Edition. A download will start and then you can install the software. Once the installation is complete, you can launch the software and select Start a free 30 day trial.
